Changing Banking for the Better.

On March 3rd, 2003, Citizens Bank & Trust opened its doors with offices in Guntersville and Albertville. Created by a group of local businessmen, Citizens Bank & Trust is independent, locally owned and operated, by residents of Marshall County.

The bank incorporators were Mike Alred, Billy Ainsworth, Bobby Weathers, Pat Courington, Shane Wilks, Bob Hembree, Jody Chorba and Scotty Hawk.

In 2004 two new office locations were added.  On June 4, 2004, the New Hope Office opened followed by the Arab Office on June 18,2004.

On April 23,2007, we opened a new office in Hazel Green, Alabama.

A Loan Production Office was opened December 1, 2007 in Oneonta, Alabama.

In 2008 two more new offices were opened.  On February 22, 2008, the Rogersville Office opened followed later by the Athens Office which opened on October 27,2008.
