Citizens Bank & Trust CEO, Charlie Williams, has officially begun his term as Chairman of the Alabama Bankers Association following the organization's 2026 Annual Convention. Williams will lead the statewide association representing 116 Alabama banks while continuing to serve Citizens Bank & Trust and the communities of Northeast Alabama.

Citizens Bank & Trust hosted its 12th Annual Citizens Charity Classic on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Gunter?s Landing Golf Club, raising $45,000 for Northeast Alabama FCA. The tournament welcomed 58 teams across two flights and brought together community partners, sponsors, and volunteers for a day dedicated to supporting the impactful work of FCA throughout Northeast Alabama. Since the tournament began in 2015, the Citizens Charity Classic has raised more than $457,000 for Northeast Alabama FCA.
