Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to Citizens Bank & Trust. We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it. In order to provide our customers with a broad range of financial products and services as effectively and conveniently as possible, we use technology to manage and maintain customer information. "Non-public personal information" is non-public information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. For example, non-public personal information includes information regarding your account balance, payment history and overdraft history. We may also collect the following information: personal information such as name, email address, user IDs, address, phone number, race and ethnicity, policial or religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other personal information; financial information such as user payment information, purchase history, credit score, or other financial information; location information such as approximate location or precise location; web browsing history; messaging information such as emails, SMS or MMS messaging, other in-app messages; photos, videos, voice or sound recordings, music files, or other audio files; health information, fitness information, contacts, or calendar events. 

What Information We Disclose

We are permitted under law to disclose non-public information about you to other third parties in certain circumstances. For example, we may disclose non-public personal information about you to third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us, to government entities in response to subpoenas, and to credit bureaus. We do not disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law.
 
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

Our Security Procedures

We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees who violate these standards will be subject to disciplinary measures. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your non-public personal information.
