Citizens Bank & Trust Hosts 11th Annual Citizens Charity Classic, Donates Over $42,000 to Northeast Alabama FCA
Guntersville, AL – Citizens Bank & Trust proudly hosted the 11th Annual Citizens Charity Classic on Monday, May 5, at the scenic Gunter’s Landing Golf Club. With perfect weather and enthusiastic community involvement, the tournament once again served as a powerful example of what can be achieved through local partnerships.
This year’s event raised an impressive $42,500 for the Northeast Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), bringing the total donated since the tournament’s inception in 2015 to $412,500. Citizens Bank & Trust’s ongoing support of FCA underscores a shared commitment to positively shaping the lives of young athletes and coaches throughout Northeast Alabama.
“It’s an honor to host this event each year and support an organization like Northeast Alabama FCA,” said Charlie Williams, President and CEO of Citizens Bank & Trust. “FCA’s mission aligns perfectly with our values, and we are proud to invest in their efforts to impact young lives across our footprint.”
The 2025 tournament welcomed 57 four-man teams, competing in two flights throughout the day. Prizes were awarded to first, second, and third place teams in both the morning and afternoon rounds.
