Annual event focuses on growth, networking, and leadership in North Alabama

Guntersville, AL - Citizens Bank & Trust welcomed over 200 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to the 2025 Citizens Business Summit, held September 24 at Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge. Since its founding in 2016, the Summit has become a popular gathering for Northeast Alabama’s business community bringing people together for education, networking, and inspiration.

The day began with a welcome from Charlie Williams, CEO of Citizens Bank & Trust, followed by a full slate of speakers. Rich Simpson, CEO of NavisPro, addressed the growing risks of cybersecurity threats to businesses. Dr. Roger Tutterow, Professor of Economics at Kennesaw State University, offered valuable insights into the current economic, political, and business climate. Jason Parks, of The Parks Group, closed the day with an energetic session on the importance of connecting in leadership and communication. Between sessions, attendees had the opportunity to share experiences and build meaningful relationships.
