Tornado Disaster Relief: Brindlee Mountain Primary School

By now many of you have learned of the severe damage caused by the storms last Saturday to Brindlee Mountain Primary School. Something so great about our community is how quickly people spring into action and want to help when disaster strikes.

We are saddened by the damage done to BMPS from the storm this weekend. But, we are thankful the students, faculty, and staff weren’t in this building during the storm. A disaster relief account has been set up for Brindlee Mountain Primary School at our Bank if you would like to support the school in its recovery efforts.

How to make a monetary donation:
Your donation may be taken to any of our eight locations. Mailed donations should be sent to the Post Office Box listed below. Checks should be made payable to Marshall County Board of Education with memo: BMPS Disaster Recovery Account.
Citizens Bank & Trust
P.O. Box 250
Guntersville, AL 35976

You may an online donation here.

How to donate supplies:
Many people have supplies readily available to donate. Our eight Citizens locations are serving as drop-off sites for donations.

Keep watch of the Marshall County Schools website for updates on recovery efforts, needs, and approved fundraisers.

We are praying for school administrators in their efforts to ensure students have a place to learn and teachers a place to teach until the facility is open again. Thanks for being an awesome community, North Alabama!
