Today, we are excited to introduce our newest board member, Taylor Conner. A leader in the automotive industry and a lifelong supporter of Citizens Bank & Trust, Taylor brings a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to community banking.

What do you value most about being part of the Citizens Bank & Trust team?
Citizens Bank & Trust has always held a special place in my heart, both personally and professionally. I opened my very first bank account at the Albertville location when I was about 13, so I could deposit money I earned from chores and helping out at the dealership. On the professional side, Citizens Bank & Trust has been such an important part of our dealership’s journey since the bank first opened in 2003. It’s really special to now have the chance to give back some of my time and be a small part of their story.

How do you see Citizens Bank & Trust making a positive impact in the community?
Citizens Bank & Trust is more than a bank—it’s part of the community. From opening branches in schools to teach students financial literacy to supporting local organizations with generous donations and volunteering their time, they’re always finding ways to give back. You’ll see them at community events, not just as sponsors but as active participants, connecting with the people they serve. Their dedication to making a difference is what sets them apart. With Citizens Bank & Trust, banking isn’t just about dollars and cents—it’s about building a stronger, brighter community for everyone.

What unique perspective or experience do you bring to the board?
With 12 years of experience in the automotive industry, I’ve gained a unique perspective on how a business can expand to reach wider markets while still maintaining that hometown feel and personal connection with employees and customers. I’ve worked diligently with our team to find growth opportunities, simplify processes, and build strong customer relationships. As a new board member, I’m excited to bring the same mindset and drive to assist Citizens Bank & Trust’s continued growth and success in the constantly changing banking industry.

How do you stay connected with the bank’s mission and core values in your role?
Serving as a board member at Citizens Bank & Trust is a constant reminder of the bank’s mission and core values, which strongly resonate with my own. Whether it’s through insightful discussions during meetings or attending community events where the bank is making a difference, I’m always inspired by the impact they create. Joining the Citizens Bank Board was an easy decision—our shared values and commitment to the community make this role incredibly rewarding.

What does "community banking" mean to you, and why is it important?
Community banking isn’t just about banking—it’s about building real connections and supporting the people around us. It’s about being part of the community, understanding their struggles, and working together to find solutions that help them reach their financial goals. It’s personal, meaningful, and makes a real impact. With community banking, you get to form strong relationships with customers, walking with them every step of the way. The best part? About Taylor

A lifelong member of the Albertville community, Taylor Conner is a seasoned business leader with over 12 years of experience in the automotive industry. She has played a key role in growing and expanding her family’s dealership while maintaining a strong focus on customer relationships and operational efficiency. Taylor’s deep connection to Citizens Bank & Trust dates back to her first bank account as a teenager, and she now brings her passion for community banking and strategic growth to the CBT Board of Directors.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Taylor is deeply rooted in her community and values family above all else. She and her husband, Jon, enjoy raising their daughter, Bentley Ann, in Albertville, where they are actively involved in local events and organizations. Whether it’s through her work, her role on the board, or giving back to the community, Taylor is dedicated to helping shape the future of both the bank and the place she proudly calls home.
